Quality and Work Planning and Control

"Partner with our customers to achieve improvements that further enable effective and efficient delivery of the mission"

The Quality Assurance Program (QAP) provides an overview of systems that ensure SLAC's research management and supporting services meet or exceed stakeholders' expectations, based on the effective use of documented management systems, assessment mechanisms, performance metrics, and continuous improvement processes.  SLAC's stakeholders include the DOE, scientific users who participate in experiments using SLAC's unique facilities, and sponsors of work done under the Work for Others program.  The QAP also makes certain that SLAC meets the many contractual commitments identified in the contract between Stanford University Board of Trustees and the DOE to manage and operate SLAC.
