The goal of the Experimental Seminar series is to educate the SLAC community regarding new achievements in experimental particle physics. The main target audience are experimental particle physicists but many topics are also interesting for astrophysicists, theorists and accelerator physicists. A large fraction of the audience are graduate students and postdoctoral researchers but there are also some that are experts with long experience in your field. Given the wide range of audience background, it is therefore important that the seminars begin with a basic introduction putting the result in context in order to set the scene for the key results and focus of the talk.
The length of the seminar will be 1 hour including discussion; the audience is encouraged to ask question at any time during the seminar and you should anticipate lively participation from the audience.
If you have any questions or requests on the seminar or travel arrangement and reimbursement, please contact the coordinator.
