Welcome to the SLAC Research Library. This web site is an online
gateway to the extraordinary library resources of SLAC and
Stanford University and serves as an important research tool for
SLAC faculty, staff, and researchers.
The Library is staffed from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, but is open to all SLAC employees and users 24x7. We are now located temporarily in the foyer of building 50 (Computer). The Library has quiet study areas and a reading room where you can relax and read the newspaper or current magazine. Additionally, there are computers, photocopiers, printers and microfiche readers for SLAC visitors and staff to use.

In-depth reference service, literature searches, and borrowing privileges are not available to the general public. We reserve the right to refuse or restrict service to anyone as well as the right to inspect personal belongings. If you wish to use the SLAC Library's on-site resources, please call in advance to make proper arrangements.
