Overview:
The purpose of the final survey is to check the quality of all the individual alignment steps by producing a current map of the new ring's fiducialized magnetic elements. A network of observations consisting of mostly angles and distances as well as heights is used to create this survey map.

Details:
Laser trackers and automatic levels are used to measure the fiducial points along with the monuments placed throughout the SPEAR3 ring. Through geometrical and statistical adjustment, an optimal coordinate solution is found and serves as the final check on all the aligned components. The final survey also serves as a future basis for monitoring movements of ring components or even the SPEAR3 building itself.
