Overview:
All the front ends are essentially identical for each beamline. One front end consists of four basic components:

        - moveable mask
        - fixed mask
        - stopper
        - collimator

Details:
In practice the front ends have two stands that require pre-alignment. The first stand contains two different masks that are united in the SSRL Vacuum building (#137). The second stand holds the two other components.
