Surveying Engineers

A surveying engineer is the professional who bridges the gap between the theoretician on the one hand and the practical know-how of the technician on the other. Surveying engineers at SLAC possess an undergraduate degree with surveying as the major field. They are capable of designing and supervising data collections, carrying out routine data analyses, and aiding in the solution of problems of a theoretical nature.
