For Emergency Care

For immediate, life-threatening, or otherwise serious injuries/illnesses call 911. Then call 650-926-5555 for SLAC EMT response.

The nearest emergency department to SLAC is the Stanford Health Care Emergency Department. In addition, the Stanford after-hours Walk-in Clinic may be an option for those with care needs that are not life-threatening.

Stanford after-hours Walk-In Clinic
Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM, no appointment needed

If you have a minor injury or illness and need non-emergency care, you can walk in to this Stanford-run clinic, staffed by ER physicians. This includes services for injuries and ailments, including strains and sprains, burns and wounds, and respiratory infections.

LOCATION: 211 Quarry Road, 4th Floor, Suite 402, Palo Alto, CA 94304; Phone: 650-498-3328

INSURANCE INFORMATION: Most standard insurance plans are accepted. The Walk-In Clinic visit will be billed as an office visit (not an emergency room visit). Payment of a copay may be required at the time of visit. Hospital and professional fees may also apply for additional services, like medication/vaccine administration or lab/radiology services.
