I am an assistant professor of physics at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. I currently work on the search for dark matter with the SuperCDMS experiment. In the past I have also worked on the Super-K and AMANDA/IceCube neutrino experiments.
SLAC is at a transition point taking on a broader role as it moves from having a local-based accelerator based community to a more diverse community which is spread across the U.S. and the world. If elected to the SLUO executive board, I am interested in helping to determine SLUO’s future in this time of transition.
