E-mail and Messaging
  • Provide reliable e-mail and calendaring infrastructure;
  • Support and maintain central production, development, and test Unix and Exchange E-mail servers;
  • Maintain virus scanning and spam tag/quarantine services;
  • Provide Instant Messaging server;
  • Test new e-mail technologies.

Second level troubleshooting and support for admins and end users
Authoring and maintenance of e-mail server and supported client web pages for SLAC users
Exchange account/resource/distribution-list creation
Majordomo mailing list support
Liaison with Stanford Campus for Internet News services
