Alignment of axial probe for runs 2-8 started by leveling the probe and magnet and then trying to center the probe in the center of the end plate inner circles. The probe was high by 8 mils on z = 0 (upstream) end and low 8 mils on the downstream end. z= 0 is the outside edge of the upstream (cathode) endplate. The probe has an active area diameter of 0.030 inches or 0.762 mm and the sensor is located 0.015 +/- 0.010 inches (0.381 +/- 0.254 mm) from the end of the probe. Coil X is a .5 cm wide and 1 cm long coil. For runs 9-12, z= 0 is the outside edge of the upstream (cathode) endplate. All x and y values are relative to the mechanical alignment. Run 9 was a transverse B field measurement on the a mechanical line defined by the center of the end plate inner circles. Run 10 was a measurement after moving the coil transversely so that the transverse B fields were minimized looking at the signal at the two end plates. The coil center was set at x = +6.5 mils left (looking in the beam direction) y = +7.5 mils high. Run 11 was a measurement after the pitch and yaw of the coil were adjusted, with the coil at the 1/4 & 3/4 point between the end plates, so as to minimize the transverse B fields. Then the meausured B field was also minimized by setting the coil transversely while it was at the center of the lens. The coil was offset by x = +2 mils, y = +7 mils. Run 12 was a measurement keeping the same probe angle minimiztion and then the minimizing the average of the transverse B field signal with the coil at the two end plates. The coil was offset by x = +10, y = +6 mils.
