At DC current of 6.00041 Amps the By field at the magnet center is By = 0.031100 Tesla. From previous LCLS type 5 corrector coil measurements, this current gives a 110 G-m integral field and this was confirmed with a By vs z scan of this corrector. To reach 120 G-m integral field one would need a center field peak field of 120/110*0.03110 T = 0.033927 T which would be a rms field of 0.02399 T or 240 G. The 240 G rms field was reached with a 324 peak voltage and a 9.2 peak current @ 30 Hz, the steel above the coils was 55 deg C and the top coil was 36 deg C after ~5 minutes. The phase difference was 71deg. P = 229Vrms * 6.5Arms * cos(71) = 485W. The power supplies we have at the moment max out at 11A peak. The Type 5 corrector gap is 4.14 inches.
