Subject: RE: MeasurementsHi Scott,For the holding time don't go below 2 minutes. The By vs. x scan should be done for the prototype every 20 A from 0-280A.The scan for the integrated field is from -50mm to +50mm.The reason for such large scan is that the good field region is +/-25 mm and I need to chamfer the pole for an area bigger than 25mm.I used +/- 50 mm for this initial scan even if the OPera 3D calculations suggest -45+30mm for the chamfer.Once I characterize the prototype I will ask measurements only a few current setpoints.Domenico

Subject: MeasurementsDomenico,
I have 2 questions about the measurements. First, is the 300 Sec (5 min) wait time necessary? It seems a bit long. At what currents do you want the By vs x scans done? The same 0-280 A in 20 A steps as the integrated? For the integrated I am just scaning +/- 5 mm around x = 0.
Please reply using email, since my phone appears to be dead.
