Block orientation for both VB and HB measurements.
For the XY measurements:
Label is facing toward holding screw and is rightside up.  V notch is vertical and is counterclockwise from the label.  
Helmholtz angle:
A north pole pointing toward the holding screw would give a fully Mx magnetic moment and a 0 degree angle.
