5/10/2007 Scott Anderson & Andrew Fisher Measurement Coil Orientation for Q2_1 remeasure with new magnet coils. The harmonic and integrated strength measurements of the Q2_1 magnet are viewed by the electronics (encoder) from non-lead side of the magnet. The coil measurements were made with the encoder index pulse rotated -90 degrees (CW) with respect to the normal convention of the trigger in the horizontal plane to the right (0 degrees). This makes the data listed in the files rotated CCW by 90 degrees. As an example, in run 5 the quad south pole angle nearest horizontal (and to the right) is listed as 44.52 degrees, but the south pole was near -45 degrees. This was confirmed by a hall probe. The Coil has a mark whose position should be vertical ^ and was set horizontal >.
