The Fast Wire Scanner 35 (FWS 35) was controlled manually for these measurments. The procedure for fast measurements (not having "uscan" in the title) was: Switch on Motor at initial position Go to position which went to the top position at velocity = 150mm/s at 4m/s*s acceleration.  Go to back to initial position. For the typical scan in the tunnel the 150mm/s at 4m/s*s acceleration is used to get to each wire but then the wire is scanned at 21 mm/s at 4m/s*s. The highest change in current is when the 150mm/s at 4m/s*s acceleration is used, but the highest current is when the uwire is scanned since it is near the top of the travel. Field measurements were done replicating as well as possible the uscan and are labled "uscan in the title. There are also current scans for both types of scans.
