Looking from the power lead connecton end, +X is toward from the yoke and -X is away the yoke.  +Y is up, -Y down.  +Z is away from the power leads, -Z toward the power leads.

X = 0 is at the center of the pole, and Y = 0 is at the center between the poles and z = 0 is at the center of the manget longitudinally.
