+z is into the solenoid, -z is outside.
Looking at the bucking coil pole piece end, +x is to the right, +y is up.
The wiring is on the right (+x) side.
The heavy mounting brackets on the square end are down (-y).

From the outer edge of the bucking coil pole piece to end of each coil.
