Does the field value dip? By how much and for how long? Please can you take your Hall probe without any metal and your fast -scope and put the probe in the center of the dipole's gap and measure (and record) the field every few microseconds across the time period when Briant forces the PS to fail? Please coordinate with Briant Lam at ext 2630 and report your measurements to Briant and Paul Bellomo-- they have to make a preliminary report on the prototype PS and the field behaviour ---> before 31st March.
