Geospatial Computing Group
The Geospatial Computing Group (GCG) actively promotes effective utilization of geospatial science within the SLAC community. The DOE defines the term ‘geospatial science’ as encompassing both the concepts of geographic information science and geographic information systems (GIS). These systems are the means that the GCG utilizes to deliver various map products and web applications to SLAC clients. Geospatial Computing Service:
The Geospatial Computing Group provides GIS services for SLAC projects and operations including specialized web and mobile applications. We can generate new applications tailored to your needs and linked to your data in real-time if desired (see samples).
