The Library staff are available to visit SLAC employees in their offices to answer questions as well as assist in finding information and using online research-related databases available from either SLAC or Stanford. Upon request the Library staff will also attend group meetings to promote and demonstrate the wealth of electronic resources available from their desktop. Contact the Public Services Staff or use the request form to schedule a visit.

• Inform you about resources and services offered by the SLAC Library
• Tips and training to help you get the most out of the resources at Stanford
• Instruct you in fast and effective web searching techniques
• Show you how to access electronic journals available to you through SLAC and Stanford University Libraries
• Show you how to use literature databases useful to your work, such as Pubmed, ASME, INSPEC, etc.
• Help you stay informed, find the unfindable, and get you the data you need (and not the data you don't!) effectively, thoroughly and accurately
• Assist you with in-depth, complex expert reference research projects
• Prepare complex bibliographic verifications for you
