Business Planning
The Business Planning Office is SLAC's principal means of flowing vision, mission strategy and Lab Agenda into the organization and aligning resources to achieve them.
Fiscal Year 2009 Key Goals
- Define and implement a business planning management system (guidance, procedures, tools, support) that translates the lab agenda into high-level goals with specific objectives and timetables; guide development using feedback from Operations Leadership team.
- Establish prototype system for gathering objectives and displaying performance of business plans; pilot 4th quarter FY09
- Define planning services for engineering and scientific directorates
- Lead fiscal year 2010 Operations business plans development
- Provide on-demand planning services to support continuous improvement
