Created in 2009 by the ALD for Operations, the IPM Office was born from a series of internal and external reviews which confirmed the lab’s need for coordinated business planning, assessment, project management, and reporting services to line managers.

IPMO Key Goals

Key goals from the fiscal year 2009 Lab Agenda, "Excellence in Operations":

  • Establish Integrated Performance Management (IPM) for people and for processes
  • Provide coordinated management of requirements from contract to worker
  • Site and infrastructure planning
  • Ensure DOE goals and objectives are integrated into SLAC planning via the PEMP
  • Institute uniform project management and systems approach throughout the lab
IPMO Mission and Vision

Support line management to define, capture and clearly communicate goals and objectives which are then measured and used to continuously improve plans for achieving the lab's Mission and Vision.
