INDIVIDUAL WEB SPACE
We do have space available for individual home pages. But information stored at this location should be related to your work at SLAC (not pictures of your vacation, kids, pets, or any material that would be embarrass SLAC and/or the DOE) and not be material that is important enough to lose if you leave SLAC. Individual home page space is deleted when an employee leaves, and the space is not indexed by our enterprise search engine or by public search engines. Make sure to read Individual Web Space Usage Policy Page.

If you have a Unix account, simply make a folder named "public_html" in your Unix AFS account space. Place your web files in that location. The URL for the space will be http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~username. For example, if your Unix username is "johnson", your web URL would be http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~johnson.

If you prefer to have space on a Windows server, then please send a request to www-admin@slac.stanford.edu and the space will set up for you.
