PUBLICATIONS MATRIX

InfoMedia is putting together a matrix of business rules concerning SLAC publications. In the meantime, we're talking with SLAC-based collaborations to determine when publications are SLAC documents and when they aren't.

Is your paper a SLAC document?

The most important question you can ask yourself when determining whether your paper is a SLAC document or not is this:

Did you conduct the research for or write this scientific or technical paper:

  • while being paid by SLAC,
  • while working at SLAC, or
  • while using SLAC-funded equipment?

If the answer is YES, then it's a SLAC document!
Get a number through idoc and submit the paper.

Current Matrices and Agreements

Note: SLAC document numbers are not exclusionary -- your paper can have as many or as few institutional document numbers as it needs.
