The WorkLife Office invites you to
attend the following workshops:
Finding the Deep River Within: The Art of Slowing Down
in a 24/7 World.
In a culture that tells us “faster is better”
and that surface appearances are of the utmost value,
how do we find balance and create conditions that invite
the deeper currents within us to infuse our daily
lives? Based on her new book, Finding the Deep River
Within: A Woman’s Guide to Recovering Balance and
Meaning in Everyday Life, Abby Seixas will discuss
how our culture’s “disease of a-thousand-things-to-do”
affects us all, what we can do about it, and why it’s
important, both individually and collectively, to put on
the brakes and remember what really matters.
