Required Users

The following courses are required for personnel who are required to wear a respirator:

• ES&H Course 241, Respirator Safety (annually)
• ES&H Course 241ME, Respirator Medical Exam (triannually)
• ES&H Course 241PR, Respirator Practical Fit Test (annually)

On the Job

Managers and supervisors must ensure that personnel are fully trained regarding occupational hazards and must occasionally provide on-the-job training. Consult the SLAC Training Assessment to determine personnel training requirements.
