Review and Approval

Transport
All biohazardous materials must be transported to and removed from SLAC in accordance with IATA, Department of Homeland Security, and DOT regulations.
Work Practices
Researchers must follow the safety practices specified in the
Stanford University Biosafety Manual
[pdf].
Storage/Disposal
Researchers must arrange for all biohazardous materials to be shipped from SLAC within one business day of the completion of the experiment.
Accidents and Accident Reporting
In the event of an accident, refer to the
SLAC Medical Emergency Information web site for emergency contact information.
