Asbestos Program Manager

The asbestos program manager, who supervises Class II asbestos work for CGS, will complete and maintain the following AHERA certification courses:

• Building Inspector
• Practices and Procedures in Asbestos Control
• Asbestos Work supervisor

Class II Asbestos Work

Managers and supervisors of personnel performing Class II asbestos work will complete the following training:

• ES&H Course 151, Class II Asbestos Removal

Managers and supervisors of personnel performing Class II asbestos work will ensure employees under their supervision complete the following training before performing any Class II work and annually thereafter:

• ES&H Course 151, Class II Asbestos Removal
• ES&H Course 105, Introduction to Pollution Prevention and Hazardous Waste/Materials Management

Class III and IV Asbestos Work

Before performing Class II or IV asbestos work, mechanics who work on crane and vehicle brakes and janitors who wax and maintain floors will complete the following training:

• ES&H Course 150, Asbestos Awareness
