Chapter 47: Mobile Elevating Work Platforms

The purpose of this program is to ensure mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) meet applicable standards, are kept in good working order, and are used safely and properly.

It covers selection, inspection, maintenance, and use of MEWPs.

It applies to workers (as operators and spotters), custodians, supervisors, the MEWP program manager, and Fleet Services.
