Subcontractor Excavation Competent Person

• OSHA Course 510 (or equivalent)
• OSHA Course 3010 (or equivalent)

For subcontracted projects that involve concrete coring, geotechnical, drilling or soil tilling operations where trenching and shoring are not performed, the subcontractor competent person is not required to have OSHA 510 and 3010 courses, but is still expected to have the training and practical experience to meet the OSHA definition of a competent person in their area of expertise.
