Sample Asbestos Exposure Assessment

Process: Removal of Asbestos Containing Floor Tiles and Mastic
Locations: Site Wide
Hazard: Asbestos fibers

Hazard Control

• Contact Asbestos Supervisor x4105 via phone or email.
  
• Do not eat, drink, or smoke at work site.
  
• No power tools may be used to remove floor tiles
• Use a spray bottle with soapy water to wet floor before and after removing floor tiles.
• Maximum 2 hours of floor tile removal per day or 1 waste bag.

• Mandatory Requirement - ESH Course 151 Class 2 Asbestos Worker within the last 12 months

• Do not use a broom to dry sweep.
  
• Clean up WET dust with a wet paper towel.
  

• Turn waste in to the non friable asbestos waste container. Contact Hazardous Waste Management. at x2399
