   
Environmental Protection Department
The Environmental Protection Department, within the Environment,
Safety and Health Division, supports sound stewardship practices that are
protective of the air, water, land and other natural resources impacted by
operations in pursuit of the SLAC mission.
Some of the areas EP works in are:
- environmental protection
- environmental restoration
- pollution prevention and waste minimization (including recycling)
