1. Normal Operations

SLAC Current Status Definitions

  1. Normal operations mode
    - what we are usually operating in
  2. Routine shutdown/Holiday maintenance mode
    - annual two-week December shutdown mode
  3. Emergency shutdown mode
    - post earthquake, post lab power outage, mode we would be in approx 48 hours prior to Lab standby
  4. Lab standby mode
    - lab is shutdown to all personnel and work except a skeleton crew
