This Thursday, May 15, marks the return of Bike to Work Day.
Last year SLAC had close to 80 participants stop by the SLAC
energizer station—a place for cyclists to grab freebies,
beverages and snacks. This year, the station will again be set
up at the lab's Sand Hill Road main entrance from 6:30 to 9 a.m.
on the 15th.

With spring's longer days and better weather, more of us are
clipping on our helmets and hopping onto our bikes. Many SLAC
workers ride their bicycles to and from work, and many others
use SLAC or privately-owned bikes on site. As bicycle use
increases, bicycle-related mishaps can increase as well. To
enjoy safe biking, please practice the following suggestions
listed in
the SLAC Today article.
