Working cooperatively with teachers, SLAC seeks to foster science education by encouraging student involvement in math and science activities, improving awareness of career options in science and technology, and providing an avenue of enrichment for academic science achievement.

SLAC Science Bowl SLAC hosts an annual Regional Science Bowl for teams of high school students. Each year the winning team advances to the Department of Energy National Science Bowl competition in Washington, D. C. |

SLAC Summer Work Opportunities SLAC provides opportunities for student employment during the summer months. There are two different programs: Summer Student Program and Youth Opportunity Program (YOP). |
