The SLAC Summer Institute is hosted by Stanford University and co-sponsored by the US Department of Energy and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. The Institute is a ten-day Summer School on a current research topic where each morning begins with three one-hour lectures and the afternoons consist of a mix of topical talks, SLAC tours, and discussion sessions.

SLAC is one of the world’s leading laboratories for research in high-energy physics, particle astrophysics and cosmology, and synchrotron radiation research. In the quest to provide science-based solutions to high priority challenges, SLAC seeks to hire the best and brightest scientists, engineers, and scientific computing specialists.
