Susan Schultz is SLAC’s Education Officer and head of the education team. Her responsibilities include managing an incredible team of dedicated staff, developing partnerships with local 6-12 schools teachers and community college faculty, collaborating with the Stanford K-12 Initiative program, and coordinating various Department of Energy educational programs. The ultimate goals of our outreach programs are to support educators, improve science education efforts in classrooms, and motivate students to consider careers in science, computer sciences, engineering, and technology.

Maura Chatwell is SLAC’s Tour Coordinator. Her responsibilities include scheduling and managing the SLAC tour program which hosts approximately 1000 visitors per month. She also supervisors our excellent group of tour guides. Maura’s extensive experience at SLAC enables her to share information about SLAC’s resources and enhance the visitors experience.
