of training resources, but I'll include links that might be of more interest
to our group below as well as descriptions. |

- ES&H:
Required courses are determined when employee and supervisor complete
an Employee Training Assessment (ETA).

- SLAC
Computer Education: These are instructor-led classes held at SLAC
focusing on Microsoft applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
and Access.

- Stanford
ITSS Training: Through TechPort, over 1000 online courses (ranging
from Business Skills such as Project Management to Technology Skills
such as Java) are available. Click here
for course descriptions. Access to the online courses is $150,
which can be paid by STAP funds. TechPort replaces Stanford's
free Computer-Based Training (CBT) program. However, TechPort
has a much more extensive course offering. Also available through
ITSS are Friday afternoon Tech
Briefings ("timely info for Power Users") and lunchtime
Tech
Express ("User-Friendly Brown-Bag") sessions.
