Redwood Conference Room Use and Cleaning

The Redwood Conference Room is SLAC's VIP (very important proceedings) conference room and, as such, is the face that SLAC presents to some of our most important constituents. Therefore, it is imperative that this room be maintained in a clean and presentable condition at all times. To ensure this, the guideline shown below will be followed for use of the Redwood Conference Room.

  1. Use of the Redwood Conference Room in the Research Office Building, building 048, must be arranged through the BaBar administration (currently Kathy Webb).
  2. Requestors will be required to provide a SLAC charge number to be used in the event extra services are required to return the room to an acceptable condition following their function. For example, if something that cannot be wiped up is spilled or the room is left in such a condition that extra janitorial services is required, the charge number will be used.
  3. In the event additional services are required, the BaBar administrator will contact the responsible group by email to notify them that their charge number is being used an the reasons why.
  4. When billing for additional services, the service provider will identify a SEM tracking number and the SLAC charge number for each service performed. Upon receipt of the invoice(s), SEM will check all charges for accuracy and approve for payment.
